We base many of our methods on Natural Horsemanship and kindness to the horse. We ride English and Western and use CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) guides, manuals, and textbooks. Safety, fun, and learning are our goals at Cannon Equine.

Notice how Victoria is sitting on Comanche. There is a straight line from her shoulder to hip to heel. This balances Victoria in the saddle and allows the saddle to do its job and distribute her weight evenly for Comanche.
Kelly and Lucky with a balanced riding seat.
These 2 photos are prime examples of how NOT to ride! This rider has his feet kicked out far in front of him and he is slouched. He will flop around on the horse like a sack of potatoes.
This individual also has their feet too far forward. This forces the rider into the back of the saddle and focuses pressure on the horses back at the rear of the saddle.
